Uber is seeking Data Engineering Interns to build data infrastructure and pipelines supporting machine learning analytics for millions of riders drivers and eaters.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines supporting analytics and ML models

• Develop scalable data infrastructure for streaming and batch processing

• Collaborate with data scientists ML engineers on data solutions

• Optimize data processing systems for performance cost and reliability

• Work on big data tools technologies at massive scale

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's Master's or PhD in Computer Science Data Engineering or related field

• Strong programming skills in Python Java Scala or similar languages

• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark Hadoop Kafka

• Understanding of databases SQL data modeling and ETL processes

• Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
