Amazon is seeking Data Engineer Interns to build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure supporting analytics for millions of customers globally.

Responsibilities:

• Build ETL pipelines processing massive datasets for business intelligence

• Work with AWS data services including Redshift Athena and EMR

• Optimize data infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on data solutions

• Develop tools for data quality monitoring and validation

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field

• Strong programming skills in Python SQL or similar languages

• Experience with database systems and data warehousing

• Understanding of distributed systems and ETL processes

• Expected graduation October 2026 through December 2029
